A great family vacation spot.

This our second year in a row to stay here. There were several other families that we met that were return customers as well. The furnishings are nice and the property immaculate. We hope to have the opportunity to return again.

This was our first trip to Ft. Walton and it was amazing! The condo was gorgeous and perfect! We will definitely be back!

Waterscapes

We have stayed 2 times at this unit and have enjoyed this unit each time. The owners have installed some very attractive tile in the dining room and living room which really looks great. This unit always looks great and I think most important the owners are concerned about the unit being in good condition for the renters and is equally concerned about the renters. This is a great unit to rent! One really good thing is that it is close to the elevator but not too close and is also close to the trash shute.

Great first impression

Spring Breaking it for 35 years; We will return!

It was a great place to stay! We have stayed throughout Gulf Shores, Orange, Destin, St. Mary's Beach and this was one of our favorites. The 2 bedrooms were large and had King beds, the Master Bathroom was huge. Bunk Bed alcove with TV. This is not what we expected with a beach condo. Complex was quiet. The elevator was near unit for convenience and we never heard it or people. The parking garage had security, plenty of carts to transport your luggage, ease of in and out. We walked to Waffle House and restaurant across the street. We were there over Spring Break, so the weather was cold and weather was bad. At night we watched movies as a family. Lots of things to do nearby bowling and shopping. Publix grocery (2-5 minutes away) and Wal-Mart (10 minutes away). Definitely use the GAS grill by the pool. Dining Room table sits 8 so no need to eat out all the time. We probably ate out one meal every other day. Stay away from driving east to Destin and Watercolor etc. unless you like traffic and averaging 5 miles per hour at best. Our group was my wife and myself, our 19 year old daughter and 3 of her college friends. If your child asks you to chaperone, definitely say yes!

The only negative is that a new building is being built next door, so if you are looking for a FULL view of the ocean, this is not for you.

Everything was clean and updated. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Very nice couple to deal with.

Good times at Waterscape A615

We stayed for a week at Waterscape A615, great resort with plenty of fun things to do. The condo was adequately stocked (could've used some grilling tools) we like to cook. The condo was very comfortable ,nicely decorated and had plenty of room. The owners are very nice and communicated well and answered all of our questions . This was our second time at Waterscape resort and we will be back. A++++

Wonderful place and wish I was still there!

First, I want to say the condo is exactly all we hoped for. This was not our first trip to Waterscape but it was our first trip to the beach with our 2-year-old grandson. He absolutely loved the bunkbed alcove, he had his own little space, the 2 king master suites is a big plus for couples and the beds were very comfortable. The elevator is right outside your door, down to the garage, or 1 door away to the elevator which takes you down to the pool. Super convenient location. We utilized the grills at the pool and the children's area is very nice for families with small children. The beach was beautiful as always but I was a bit disappointed in the view from the balcony since the hotel has been built next door. The location to restaurants, grocery store, wal-mart was great. It was a bit cool the first couple days and we went to the Gulfbreeze Zoo for the day, which was really nice. You can get really close to the animals here and my grandson loved it! The dining table is quite large, and eating out with a 2-year-old is not always fun, so one night we went to Destin Ice Seafood and got 2 lb king crab legs, 4 lobsters, shrimp, new potatoes, and corn, they seasoned it, steamed it, and we laid it out on the table and had a feast! I highly recommend this if you want seafood and have children, dont want to wait for a table, wait for food to be prepared, and as patient as children can be, they eventually get restless. We did this more than once honestly and saved lots of money. My husband and I did sneak away one day and had lunch at Dewey Destin, which is one of my favorites. I parasailed with my daughter-in-law and went shopping at Silver Sands outlet mall for our birthdays (1 day apart) and had a great time overall. I love this place and will be back again!!!

Great Place to Stay

We had a great time staying here. Very comfortable place to stay that feels like a home, not a rental. Our 2 year old loved having her own bunk area as well as the pool and beach. Highly recommend this place for a great family vacation.

Very nice place

We loved this condo. Very nice and clean. Only a couple of small things would make this condo perfect. A non stick pan and a couple of dish towels. Those are minor but would be great if added. Loved this place. My son loved all the pools and the beach is awesome too!!

Excellent place to stay

My family enjoyed staying here. The only complaint I had was the pool staff wasnt very friendly and the condo needed a nonstick pan as well as a few bath wash rags. Other than those minor things, the stay was great. Great location! And the owners were so helpful and friendly. I would recommend staying here again in the future.

Beautiful, well equipped, and conveniently located!

We enjoyed a wonderful weeklong stay at A615. We found it to be well decorated, super clean, and well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathrooms. Unit is conveniently located straight across the hall from the elevator. I would highly recommend this unit and Waterscape as a whole to anyone searching for a great vacation spot. The entire rental process was super easy, and the owners were quick to forward all information necessary for our stay. Looking forward to renting from the Hutchison's again!

very clean, owners easy to work with and responded quickly

Liked this unit, we have stayed in several in this resort. Stinks that they put the hotel next to it as it would be a beautiful view out the balcony otherwise. Owners were always quick to respond to questions before and during our stay. Beautifully decorated. Very clean. No noise from others units could be heard while we were there, even from the elevators close by. Kitchen well stocked and the washer and dryer rocked, they clearly were not the bottom of the line like we have had in other units.

My husband and I have been vacationing in the Destin/Fort Walton area for years and decided to try a different location! So glad we did! This unit was not only absolutely gorgeous - the entire complex was way over what we expected! Lovely grounds, great security and such a clean property! I would stay here again for sure! The owners were so easy to work with and made the trip so enjoyable! We hope to be lucky enough that this unit is available during our next trip. Thank you for making your property available for us and for all the extra effort you put in to make the unit everything one would expect - actually even better!

Overall we truly enjoyed our stay.

We had a very nice stay with the exception of the plumbing issues. Unfortunately the first 3 days we had plumbing issues in the master bath. A real inconvenience.

Great Spring Break

The accommodations were great. Pretty much everything needed was provided. There was a partial ocean view All rooms were spacious and comforting. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay with our family! The condo was large and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and there was a pack n play for the little one. The unit was very conveniently located to the elevator to go down to the pools and beach. Our little ones loved all the different pools and splash pad. The beach was beautiful. We would love to return again in the future!

Can say enough good things

This condo was by far the best place our family has stayed since we've been coming to Destin/Ft Walton Beach. It was clean and well maintained. My 3 year old son absolutely loved the pools and it was nice having the tiki snack bar nearby for lunch around the pool. We cooked a lot of meals in the condo and we had everything we needed. Publix is close by for grocery shopping. The beach is just a short walk from the pool area. It's a lot easier to get to here compared to other places we've stayed. It was nice to have access to the umbrella and chairs down on the beach and the guys working the rentals were very nice and helpful. They told us where we could set up our canopy on the beach and even offered to help us put it up. Overall everything was excellent and we will definitely be back in the future!

Beautful condo with everything one could imagine

This was our 11th year vacationing in the Ft. Walton area and the 14th time to stay at the Waterscape. I would have to say out of all the condos we have ever stayed in at the Waterscape, this one tops them all. We felt like we were at home. The owners thought of everything! The unit has a new washer/dryer, dishwasher, and it has multiple small appliances in the kitchen, plenty of dishes, utensils, non stick pans (never have had these at any other condo and always bring my own). The shelf on the wall in the master bedroom on the side that does not have a nightstand was perfect. There are great TVs. The unit is beautifully furnished with a large dining table able to accommodate up to 8 people, comfortable mattresses even on the bunk room beds and fold out couch, makeup towels, double towel bars in both main bathrooms, new shower heads, etc. I could go on and on. It was a perfect stay. Our family loves the Waterscape and our children who are now 12 and 14 have grown up coming here. This resort has grown with them because it has so much to offer with the children’s splash area for when they were little, two pools, lazy river, children’s activities, movie night, etc. The beach is wonderful and the owners including beach chairs/umbrella was super! Sugar white sand is the best!

We wish the two hotels had not been built next door. It impedes the views but overall we spent most of the time outdoors at the beach or pools so it was not a big issue. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone seeking a fun, relaxing vacation in this area.

There is plenty to do around the area with fishing off the pier, good restaurants, an arcade for the rainy days, and Destin is close by for other activities.

The owners were great to work with. They provided all the information in advance and the unit exceeded our expectations

A Great Family Vacation Location

Waterscape is a great family vacation location with multiple pools and easy beach access for adults and children alike. Unit A615 was very comfortable and had updated decor. The unit had easy garage/elevator/pool/beach access (via pool). The only downside is that the balcony receives a large amount of noise from the adjacent hotel's water chiller unit. This was not a factor for us since our focus was the beach and pool with young children. We would highly recommend this location.

Very comfortable,clean, and inviting!!

We absolutely loved our stay in waterscape A615! We have been coming to Okaloosa Island for 6 years now and this is the nicest condo we have stayed in by far! They had absolutely everything you could imagine needing. All decor, furniture, and appliances are up to date and clean!

The view was not our favorite, but they are not deceptive about this. It is exactly as pictured and we knew this going in! Still a comfortable balcony and great place to enjoy a nice breakfast!

Location to elevator was great! Right outside of the room. Easy short walk to pool access.

Would definitely return and recommend to others! Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

Great Beach Vacation

The Condo was great and the resort was awesome. The Kids really loved all of the pools.

Great for family with teens

The condo was wonderful for a family with teens. We each had our own space but could also come together. The Netflix and amazon prime were a nice addition. We went parasailing, bowling, to a movie, shopped at outlets and on a dolphin cruise in November. It was warm enough two days to go to the beach and my kids went in the heated pool and hot tub almost every day. We had a great time!

The condo itself was very clean, beds were super comfy and easily accessible from the garage, having 3 bathrooms was so convenient with 6 people. Fantastic property

2 families traveling together with children and the condo was spacious and very clean and had everything we needed! Amenities are wonderful as well.

Great location

This worked well for out family. We had a baseball tournament in the area and this space actually allowed for us to host the parents for a get together night.

Perfect condo for our family

Condo was neat and tidy, great layout and quiet. The building was well insulated because except for people in the hallway we felt we were all alone. The pools were great, especially the heated one on the colder days. Getting to the beach was so easy and close. Would highly recommend another stay

Spacious Condo

This unit was very spacious for a family of four. The unit is clean and updated. The rest of the property was nice also. The beach and pools were great. We would stay here again if we visit this area in the future.

If you’re driving bring a few cleaning supplies along with some laundry and dishwasher detergent. None of this is provided.

Spring Break

The condo was nice. The big master definitely needs a new mattress though. The condo was stocked with everything- even a crock pot! The pools are great but were closed two days due to failing health inspection. Please be sure to double check reservation as we arrived to a condo that hadn't been cleaned. The owner did give us a $100 credit though. Overall, we had a great stay. This condo is roomy and well decorated.

We loved this condo. It was really nicely and had a nice balcony view of the water areas.

I would highly recommend this place based on all of the amenities and proximity to the beach. It was a quick walk through the water/Pool area and the beach is right there. It comes with 2 chairs and an umbrella set up on the beach for you everyday which was so nice. The owners were very helpful with giving lots of information about our stay/checking in. Everything was very nice. I would definitely rent this place from them again.

Great Place

This was our third time staying at Waterscape, and while all condos have been good, this unit was the best so far. It was nicely decorated, comfortable, decent ocean view and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and small appliances. The complex is fantastic for families with many amenities and activities.

A420 was a great place to stay. The beds were super comfortable and was well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. The balcony was huge and we had a great view! Will definitely be back!

Overall this was a great place for families of little children! Easy access to beach and pools!

This condo and resort was a nice place for a family with small children. The condo itself was mostly well stocked but a tad unclean. The check-in instructions did not include the parking gate code and we never received a parking pass that was stressed as important to be placed in the car. The pools and hot tubs were dirty. The ocean was full of seaweed which made it somewhat miserable to enjoy. That all being said, we have a 19 and 10 yr old. Our 10 yr old loved the bunk beds and the pools!! Pools and beach area were a little congested for our teen. It was nice to have a door code versus a key card so all members of the family could come and go as they pleased. The condo had a nice view of the pool area and some ocean view! The owners were quick to respond and have the condo decorated nicely! We had never been to Fort Walton and would recommend this place to our friends/family with small children!

Fantastic vacation!!

We had an amazing time at Waterscape! Our unit A420 was perfect!! We stayed Aug. 18th-25th of 2018. It was clean, had all of the kitchen basics, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, washer dryer, and so much more!! Our kids enjoyed all of the different swimming pools and lazy river!!! We loved the beach being just a short walk away with chairs and umbrellas awaiting! All of the waterscape employees were very friendly as well!! The owners of the condo provided very detailed lists of procedures/ information about the unit and waterscape as a whole, and even a list of their favorite restaurants near by (which we enjoyed as well). I would highly recommend staying here!!! Our family had a wonderful vacation!!!

Perfect trip!

This was our 6th visit to waterscape over the last several years. Unit A420 was by far the nicest unit we've stayed in - everything seemed fresh/new. The unit was perfectly located near the elevators with quick access to pools and the beach; and has a great view of the property and beach. We have found our new "home away from home" at Waterscape!

Awesome Fall Break Vacation

A420 and Waterscape were the perfect get away for my family for our fall break vacation. The unit was very clean and had a great view. We will definitely stay here again! This is 3rd or 4th stay at Waterscape, but our 1st in a 1-bedroom. The 1-bedroom was perfect for a 4-person family with elementary aged children. My only suggestion would be to put a TV in the bunk bed area or in each individual bunk area as some of the other units we have stayed in have had. The addition of Netflix was great for the kids and the adults - especially on a rainy evening. The beds were super comfortable and the decor was updated. The one drawback to going from a 2-bedroom unit to a 1-bedroom unit is the size of the bathrooms. The bathrooms were a lot smaller in the 1-bedroom but were ok for a week stay. This would not be a deal breaker for us. In the 2-bedroom units, both bedrooms have a large walk in shower and large vanities. This unit has 2 bathrooms. The master has a single vanity sink and a regular tub/shower combo. The 2nd bunk area bathroom has a pedestal sink and a small walk in shower - perfect for the kids, but storage was an issue in both bathrooms. This is definitely not a deterrent for us, but may not fit the needs of others going from a 2-bedroom to a 1-bedroom. Thank you Lanny and Ann for an awesome unit that we will definitely visit again!!!!

Waterscape and Unit A420 that we rented were excellent! Very well kept up and nice amenities & location. We would rent this unit again. The owners were very quick to respond to our questions, and the unit was very well maintained with a good view of the Gulf. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was VERY comfortable. The unit was clean and everything worked. The decor was beautiful & relaxing.

Great unit. Very clean and comfortable. Have stayed several times at this property and this is one of the best units we have been in. Would stay in the same unit again.

Lovely beach and pool area...pools need to all be heated!!

This particular condo has a hotel feel to it. It shouldn't be counted as sleeps six, because the mattress in the sofa bed is unusable. The couch itself seems fairly new and I don't know if the owners have not seen it, but, it is nothing but coils. Our grandson had to sleep on the sofa all week...of course he was fine, but, not what I wanted for him. There were not enough towels in the unit and it is only stocked with the bare minimum of kitchen accessories. We have stayed many years on the gulf side and rented many condos. This one won't be repeated. The pool areas are beautiful, but, only one is heated. So, it was the only one used by everyone and was crowded. The maintenance stuff was very helpful and friendly. The beach and ocean are so lovely at this location and we could see the beach and pool areas from our balcony. The balcony is a great size. So, it served it's purpose, but, was disappointed for the money.

Everything was perfect. Condo an pool amenities were in great condition and everyone was easy to work with and very helpful.

Family beach vacation

The condo was perfect for our family of 4 to enjoy a beach vacation. The owners responded quickly to my questions I had beforehand too. We had plenty of room and the kids loved the bunk beds! The view of the beach and pools was nice as well. We loved having the umbrella and chairs set up everyday on the beach for us - so nice not to have to bring our own and worry about setting it up! The resort was nice and our kids loved the splash area as well as the zero entry pool - it’s a great resort for both young and older kids. The next time we are in Ft Walton Beach we will certainly stay here again!

For my family of 4 including 2 adults and 2 small children, this property worked very well for us. The unit was clean, and comfortable. The balcony offered a great view of the kiddie pools and the ocean. The unit is very quiet, even though the pool goers were out until the pool closed at 10pm, we weren't bothered by them at all. The kitchen was stocked with all of the items we needed. The bunk beds worked perfectly for my kids, and having 2 bathrooms also worked in our favor. We had a small issue with the refrigerator not cooling properly, but the owners responded right away and it was fixed within 24 hours of reporting it to them. We highly enjoyed our stayed!
